On the slopes of the Tuscolo stands the majestic Villa Tuscolana.”La Rufinella” is one of the ten Tuscolane Villas, the tallest villa on the hill above the town of Frascati.

It was built in 1578 by the will of Cardinal Alessandro Rufini where the ruins of the ancient Roman residence of Marco Tullio Cicero stood.
